Viva Excellence was founded by Dr. Kate Truitt, Ph.D., M.B.A., M.A. Dr. Truitt is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY26309) committed to understanding the brain’s ability to transcend and transform the complex and beautiful relationship between nature and nurture. Utilizing her training as a neuroscientist and a clinical psychologist, along with her M.B.A. in Healthcare Administration, Dr. Truitt has passionately dedicated her life to advancing the treatment of fear-based disorders. Her clinical practice, scientific studies, and trainings are specialized in the treatment of PTSD/Complex Trauma, panic disorders and anxiety, phobias, as well as other stress-based disorders.
Our goal is to make resilient and sustainable healing available to everyone. Thanks to new advances in Neuroscience, impactful, self-empowered healing is now available to everyone. Rebecca Turner, LMFT: Rebecca earned her Masters of Science degree in Marital Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA as well as a concentration in Medical Family Therapy. This education and resulting clinical work set the foundation for Rebecca’s exploration and treatment of the impacts of sensory sensitivities, chronic illness, and pain upon the lives of individuals and families. Rebecca’s therapeutic work is grounded in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of pre-verbal, chronic, and acute traumatic experiences. She holds certification in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, a model to support those whose minds and bodies have developed in the context of chronic illness, pain, and early developmental trauma.
